How to request account deletion

Email michael.smith@lavaegg.com from the email address used for your LavaEgg account with the subject "Delete my LavaEgg account". In the message, say that you want LavaEgg to delete your LavaEgg account and associated app data.

If you cannot send the request from the account email address, include the account email address and enough information for LavaEgg to verify that you control the account before deletion.
LavaEgg may reply to confirm the request or ask for verification before deleting account data.

Data LavaEgg deletes or de-identifies

After LavaEgg verifies the request, LavaEgg deletes or de-identifies app account data associated with the requested LavaEgg account where deletion is technically and legally available.

Firebase Authentication account records that LavaEgg controls for the app account.
LavaEgg account profile details such as email address, display name, username, phone number, role, and sign-in provider metadata.
Profile images, logos, and account-owned uploaded files stored for that account.
Complete AI Academy coaching sessions owned by the account, including stored lesson transcripts, duplicate model-context messages, and session metadata. A learner can also delete an individual stored lesson from the live lesson screen before deleting the account.
Project access records, account assignments, and user-authored app or workbench messages where deletion does not conflict with required project, security, or legal records.

Export before deletion

During an active AI Academy lesson, use Export transcript to download that lesson transcript as JSON before deleting it. For a broader account-data export, email michael.smith@lavaegg.com from the account email address and request access or export before account deletion.

Deleting an AI Academy lesson session permanently removes that stored transcript and cannot be undone.
Account deletion does not automatically create an export, so request or download any copy you want before deletion.

Data LavaEgg may keep

Some information may be retained when LavaEgg has a legitimate business, security, legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or client-service reason to keep it.

Project and business records needed to preserve client work history, contract history, service continuity, or audit trails.
Security logs, abuse-prevention records, and operational diagnostics needed to protect LavaEgg services.
Records required for legal, tax, accounting, dispute, or compliance obligations.
Backup copies until they expire through normal backup rotation.

Timing

LavaEgg aims to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless additional verification is needed or retention is required for a legitimate reason.

If LavaEgg needs more information to verify or process the request, LavaEgg will respond using the account email address when possible.
Data retained in backups is removed through normal backup rotation unless it must be preserved for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Firebase, Google sign-in, and Apple sign-in

LavaEgg uses Firebase Authentication for app account sign-in. LavaEgg does not store or view your account password.
